This is a comprehensive color photographic catalogue of Japanese Scarabaeoidea. The series
are expected to be in three volumes, and the first volume, coprophagous group, has just published
in Aug. 2005. It contains all known 152 species and 9 subspecies of dung beetles in Japan. One
species is shown on one full page with more than 10 detail cut. The photos are one of the highest
quality taken by most advanced Japanese digital camera. Text is in Japanese but most information
like distribution, adult season or altitude has shown by chart, so easy to understand for everyone.
